Welcome to Lucky Dog Ceramics. Operating out of my home studio in Austin, Texas, I make small-batch ceramics that are functional first: cups, bowls, bud vases, and planters designed for your counter, your coffee, and your plants.

I first sat down at the pottery wheel in early 2026 and was instantly hooked. Every piece here is thrown, trimmed, and glazed entirely by hand. You won't find factory perfection in this shop—just intentional, tactile pieces with their own unique character.

The studio is named after Lucky, one of my two rescue pups. He and his brother, Woody, supervise closely and take quality control very seriously. I hope these pieces bring a bit of quiet utility and warmth to your daily routine.
